What the posting is about
As a Working Student in Simulation Engineering at Animore, you'll set up and develop simulation environments mirroring real-world robotic hardware. You'll work across the full simulation stack, from sourcing 3D assets to running and monitoring simulations. Your responsibilities include building and maintaining simulation environments, sourcing and integrating 3D assets, calibrating simulations, and improving internal tooling. You'll need to be currently enrolled in a relevant degree program, have good Python skills, experience with Git and Ubuntu, and knowledge of rigid body dynamics. Bonus if you have prior experience with IsaacSim, MuJoCo, or other relevant tools.

The posting, as the company wrote it
Employment: Contract
Experience: Internship
In this role, you will set up and develop simulation environments that mirror our real-world robotic hardware setups. You'll work across the full simulation stack involving the creation and importing 3D assets, to writing simulation configuration code, to running and monitoring simulations along with establishing rendering pipelines to generate visually realistic scenes
Your Responsibilities
Build and maintain simulation environments in IsaacSim, including scene setup and configuration
Source, create, and integrate 3D assets to match our physical hardware
Improve internal tooling and debugging workflows for the simulation pipeline
Develop and maintain a synthetic data generation pipeline such as re-rendering, procedural generation and offline rendering
Requirements
Currently enrolled in a degree program in robotics,, software engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field
Experience writing and reviewing Python code
Demonstrated knowledge of rigid body dynamics and a working knowledge of rendering
Self-motivated and able to drive work forward independently with minimal supervision
Bonus: prior experience with IsaacSim, USD, ROS, or 3D content creation tools (e.g. Blender, Onshape, SolidWorks)
Benefits
Work with a world-class team in a flat hierarchy, with direct collaboration alongside the founders and engineering team
Opportunity to make a real impact by working on cutting-edge robotics and AI systems
Fast growth potential in a rapidly evolving company and industry
International office environment with English as the official working language
Recruiting Process
Your recruiting partner for this role is Madhulika (she/her). You can expect a screening interview and upto 2 rounds of technical interviews including an onsite visit to our office in Munich.
