Hands-on experience with Java test automation , preferably using RestAssured, Serenity BDD or similar frameworks.
Good understanding of JSON, XML, schemas and API contracts .
Knowledge of SQL and ability to independently validate data at database level.
Experience with Git, CI/CD, Jenkins and logging/monitoring tools such as Kibana or Elasticsearch.
Familiarity with Swagger/OpenAPI, JIRA, TestRail or equivalent tools.
Ability to independently analyze integration services, design test coverage and troubleshoot issues across distributed systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers, architects, analysts and testers.
Slovak/Czech - native speaker, English proficiency at B1 level or higher .
Nice-to-have
Experience with Apache Camel, TIBCO BusinessWorks, TIBCO EMS or other ESB/integration platforms.
Knowledge of Kafka, JMS, Enterprise Integration Patterns and message-driven architectures.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and service virtualization (mocks, stubs, proxies).
Performance and load testing experience using JMeter, LoadRunner or similar tools.
Experience in the Telecommunications industry , particularly BSS/OSS and integration processes.
Experience with enterprise integration platform migration or modernization.
Knowledge of BPMN and Camunda.
Experience with AI-assisted development and test automation tools.
The impact you'll create
Design and execute integration tests covering APIs, message contracts, transformations, routing, error handling and end-to-end flows.
Develop reusable Java test automation components for multiple integration services.
Build automated tests for TIBCO-to-Apache Camel migration releases and establish a sustainable regression test suite.
Implement comparative testing to verify behavioral consistency between legacy TIBCO and new Camel implementations.
Automate synchronous and asynchronous integration scenarios involving Kafka and JMS.
Analyze logs and trace transactions using Kibana/Elasticsearch and correlation IDs.
Validate data consistency using SQL (Oracle/PostgreSQL).
Create mocks, stubs and test data to simulate upstream/downstream systems.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Define testing standards and best practices for Camel integration services.
Collaborate with developers to identify test scenarios and improve service testability.
Analyze test failures, identify root causes and distinguish between automation, environment, data and implementation issues.
Document solutions and ensure knowledge transfer and long-term maintainability.
