The posting, as the company wrote it
Xendit is an enterprise payments platform powering complex financial operations across Southeast Asia and global markets. We provide a unified API layer combining payment processing, global payouts, localized FX, identity compliance, and fraud protection. As a trusted financial partner backed by top-tier global investors, Xendit processes high-throughput transaction flows for leading global platforms including Meta, Traveloka, ByteDance, Wise, and Grab, building resilient payment infrastructure to drive regional commerce forward.
The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to drive the next generation of XenPlatform. XenPlatform is one of the most complex products in Xendit’s payment processing stack. Your main job will be to set its overall product direction and make sure we can serve marketplaces and platforms across all our regions.
Beyond long-term strategy, we need someone who can get into the weeds and break complex problems down for our engineering teams. You’ll bring payments experience, a track record of building global products at scale, and strong commercial judgement, so that what we build covers all our markets and scales sustainably.
You’ll have full ownership of your team’s strategy, priorities and outcomes, and the autonomy to define the next phase of XenPlatform.
What you’ll do in this role
Drive the overall product strategy and roadmap, balancing competing stakeholder requests across teams and clearly communicating your prioritisation framework to senior leadership
Deeply understand enterprise customers across segments (marketplaces, embedded finance and SaaS platforms), leveraging their feedback to define your longer-term roadmap
Partner with Finance, Compliance, Legal and GTM to define the ideal customer profile (ICP) Xendit should focus on
Design intuitive experiences across the API and the Xendit Dashboard, so merchants can clearly see how their platforms are performing and accurately reconcile their own data
Build scalable account structures that accurately reflect how our enterprise merchants’ organisations are set up
Partner with Engineering and Design to deliver products and features on time and to a high standard, making sure every XenPlatform feature is on par with or better than what’s in the market
What you’ll need in this role
5+ years of product management experience in fintech and/or B2B products
Experience in payments processing (acquiring/issuing) or cross-border payouts
Experience with onboarding and KYC/KYB flows
A track record of driving roadmap and execution across cross-functional teams, owning north-star metrics such as TPV, conversion or retention
Strong understanding of the technical, regulatory and operational challenges of building global financial products
A clear, concise communication style that adapts to your audience
Strong analytical skills and comfort using data to understand customer behaviour and make decisions
Strong commercial acumen, with the judgement to balance commercial and product requirements
