We work with leading technologies including AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, and Snowflake, and combine strong engineering culture with a consulting mindset and a continuous focus on growth and knowledge sharing You will be: designing and developing scalable backend solutions using Golang and Python, building and maintaining reliable APIs and complex business workflows, contributing to architectural decisions and shaping the technical direction of the project, ensuring high code quality through automated testing and engineering best practices, working with modern cloud-native technologies and AI-assisted development tools, collaborating with an experienced engineering team to deliver reliable, high-quality software solutions, taking ownership of technical challenges and driving solutions in a fast-evolving environment. Your profile: strong commercial experience in developing backend applications using Golang, proven experience in developing applications and solutions using Python, solid experience with PostgreSQL, including database design and optimisation, proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining backend APIs, experience implementing complex business workflows and large-scale state machines, strong knowledge of automated testing, particularly end-to-end (E2E) testing, experience working in an AI-first or AI-assisted software development environment, ability to establish reliable engineering guardrails for AI-generated code, including automated testing and E2E test coverage, ability to make sound technical decisions and navigate evolving requirements and architectural challenges. Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required. Nice to have: experience with Kubernetes, particularly deploying and running backend services within a Kubernetes cluster, familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), experience working with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures, experience with Redis or Redis-compatible databases, knowledge of cloud-native and containerised backend architectures, experience in the fintech industry, ideally working with financial workflows related to lending, leasing, or payments, experience developing AI agents and agentic workflows, experience designing and developing systems that combine automated workflows with human decision-making or approval processes.
