Senior Front-end Engineer

At the core of the role In Argentina, we are looking for a Senior Front-end (React.js) Engineer to lead a strategic financial-services project. You will work across the entire software development lifecycle, from technical discovery and solution design to implementation, testing, deployment, and production support. You will build modern cloud-native solutions, collaborate with product and technology stakeholders, and influence architectural decisions in an agile, innovation-driven environment. As part of the team, you will join a multidisciplinary squad composed of Software Engineers, Technical Leads, Product Owners, and UX specialists. This role is open to candidates in Argentina , preferably Buenos Aires , for occasional in-person collaboration. Core skills you’ll bring 5+ years of commercial experience with React.js and the Next.js framework. Some Node.js experience. Solid understanding of microservices and/or event-driven architectures. Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs. Knowledge of NoSQL databases. Experience with AWS cloud services. Practical experience deploying and managing applications in cloud environments. Strong knowledge of GitLab, including branching strategies, feature development workflows, and hotfix processes. Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Datadog and Opsgenie. Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. Native or fluent Spanish and Intermediate English proficiency. Nice-to-have Familiarity with Serverless Framework or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. Experience with Agile methodologies and the full software development lifecycle. Ability to mentor teammates and share technical knowledge across teams. The impact you'll create Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications with a primary focus on creating exceptional frontend experiences using React.js (Next.js). Create intuitive, engaging, and user-centric interfaces with a strong emphasis on usability and performance. Develop, integrate, and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services. Write unit tests and ensure software quality through code reviews and best engineering practices. Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance production applications while implementing new features and improvements. Collaborate with Product Owners, Technical Leads, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Build prototypes and proofs of concept during discovery and project scoping phases. Share knowledge, lessons learned, and technical discoveries to strengthen team capabilities and technology practices.
