Senior DevOps Engineer (DefenceTech)

Employment: Full-time Experience level: Mid-Senior Level Job Description Design, implement, and maintain scalable AWS-based infrastructure across multi-account environments Develop and support Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform modules and reusable configurations Configure and standardize backup and disaster recovery processes for cloud services and SaaS platforms Implement secure backup strategies including cross-account replication, encryption, Object Lock (WORM), and isolated backup environments Perform restore testing for databases and critical systems and validate real RTO/RPO indicators Create and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and technical procedures in English Automate infrastructure and operational processes using Bash and/or Python Manage and support Kubernetes clusters and Helm deployments Monitor backup jobs and infrastructure reliability and configure alerting mechanisms Collaborate with internal DevOps teams through merge request workflows and infrastructure reviews Assess and improve cloud infrastructure resilience and security posture Qualifications At least 5 years of commercial experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including Organizations, IAM, S3, RDS, AWS Backup, KMS, and EKS Deep understanding of AWS multi-account architecture and cloud security best practices Production-level experience with Terraform including modules, remote state management, and multi-environment deployments Strong practical experience with Kubernetes and Helm Solid Linux administration skills Experience with automation and scripting using Bash and/or Python Proven experience implementing backup and disaster recovery strategies in production environments Hands-on experience performing production data restoration and validating RTO/RPO metrics Experience writing technical documentation and operational runbooks in English Understanding of cloud security principles and infrastructure resilience practices At least an Intermediate level of English WILL BE A PLUS Experience with GitLab APIs, export, and repository mirroring Experience with SaaS backup solutions Experience backing up Microsoft 365 environments Familiarity with security-focused or high-availability infrastructure environments Experience working in DefenceTech or other mission-critical domains Additional Information PERSONAL PROFILE Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently in a high-responsibility environment Attention to detail and operational reliability Passion for automation, infrastructure resilience, and continuous improvement Company Description Are you passionate about building secure, scalable infrastructure and driving automation in mission-critical environments?
