Figma’s platform helps teams bring ideas to life—whether you're brainstorming, creating a prototype, translating designs into code, or iterating with AI. From idea to product, Figma empowers teams to streamline workflows, move faster, and work together in real time from anywhere in the world. If you're excited to shape the future of design and collaboration, join us!
Figma’s People Partner team helps leaders build strong teams, navigate change, and create an employee experience that grows with the business. We’re looking for a People Partner to support our Chief Information Officer and the organization spanning Business Systems, Program Management, IT, and Customer Operations & Support.
You’ll serve as the dedicated People Partner to the CIO and leadership team, work closely with managers, and act as a go-to resource for employees across North America. You’ll connect the organization to our People-team Centers of Excellence while shaping global functional strategy with regional People Partners in EMEA and APAC.
The CIO organization brings together the teams building Figma’s business systems, enabling employees through technology, driving complex programs, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. As these teams come together and expand their use of AI and automation, you’ll help leaders define how the organization works, build new capabilities, and strengthen connections across functions. Your work will span organizational design, workforce planning, leadership development, career paths, and change strategy, helping teams deliver against their priorities while creating opportunities for employees to grow.
This is a full-time role that can be based in one of our U.S. hubs or remotely within the United States.
What you’ll do at Figma:
Partner with the CIO and senior leaders as a trusted advisor on organizational effectiveness, leadership, and talent strategy
Help leaders define organizational structures, functional ownership, role architecture, and operating models across IT, Business Systems, Program Management, and Customer Operations
Translate business priorities into a people strategy that supports new capabilities, emerging technology, and evolving workforce needs
Coach leaders and managers, and advance performance management, career development, talent planning, and succession strategies
Lead workforce and capacity planning across salaried and hourly populations and multiple resourcing models
Guide organizational change and strengthen collaboration across teams while balancing business commitments with a sustainable employee experience
Partner with EMEA and APAC People Partners to shape global functional priorities and coordinate support across regions
Collaborate with our People Centers of Excellence, using people data, business insights, and employee feedback to guide decisions and deliver meaningful improvements
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
8+ years of HR or People experience, including at least five years as a People Partner or HR Business Partner and experience advising VP- or C-suite-level leaders
Proven ability to support technical and operational teams, including IT, Business Systems, Engineering, Program Management, Customer Operations, and hourly employee populations
Background in supporting globally distributed organizations through close collaboration with regional People Partners
Strong experience in organizational design, workforce planning, leadership coaching, talent strategy, and change management
Demonstrated ability to build trust, influence senior leaders, and translate business strategy and people insights into practical organizational decisions
While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
Background in a high-growth SaaS or technology company
Proven ability to support a CIO organization or help leaders drive alignment across technical, operational, and customer experience functions
Exposure to AI-related transformation initiatives, including the evolution of roles, skills, and career paths
Familiarity with Technical Support, Trust & Safety, contingent-workforce, BPO, or continuous-coverage operating models
At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. We believe in hiring smart, curious people who are excited to learn and develop their skills. If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with the points outlined in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
