Junior Software Tester

Employment: Full-time Experience level: Entry Level Job Description We are looking for a Junior Software Tester to join our engineering team and help ensure the quality of software developed at Digica. You will work on a variety of projects, testing desktop, mobile and embedded applications. This is a great opportunity for someone starting their career in software testing, who enjoys solving problems, is curious about technology and wants to develop their skills, including test automation. You will be responsible for: Performing manual testing of desktop, mobile and embedded applications. Executing test cases and documenting test results. Identifying, analysing and reporting software defects. Supporting the preparation and improvement of test cases and test documentation. Learning and gradually participating in test automation. Collaborating with developers and other team members to ensure software quality. Qualifications Basic knowledge of software testing principles and methodologies. Understanding of basic testing techniques and the software testing lifecycle. An analytical mindset and a structured approach to problem-solving. Attention to detail and curiosity about how software works and how to break it. Willingness to learn test automation and develop technical skills. Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team. Good command of English, both written and spoken. Ability to learn new technologies and tools quickly. Additional Information Nice to have: Basic knowledge of Javascript or another programming language. Experience with any test automation tools or frameworks. Basic knowledge of SQL. Experience with Git. Experience with Docker. Experience with Azure. Soft Skills: Curiosity and problem-solving mindset, Clear communication and teamwork, Proactive attitude and sense of ownership, Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
