Sneak preview of your future tasks Owns MVA Platform Delivery   Owns the delivery and evolution of Mercedes Voice Assistant platform capabilities across multiple teams and products, ensuring achievement of quality, performance, scalability, and delivery objectives.   Leads Organizational Development   Leads managers and engineering teams through workforce planning, organizational design, succession planning, capability development, and performance management to ensure long-term domain effectiveness.   Drives Platform Direction & Technology Evolution   Drives platform evolution, technical priorities, and investment decisions across voice assistant capabilities, ensuring alignment with future business needs and technology requirements.   Governs Engineering Excellence   Governs software engineering standards, development practices, platform quality objectives, and operational excellence activities to ensure sustainable and scalable platform growth.   Drives Cross-Functional Alignment   Drives alignment across Product Management, Architecture, System Engineering, AI organizations, and Mercedes-Benz stakeholders to manage dependencies and achieve domain objectives.   Establishes Innovation & Capability Growth   Establishes innovation, learning, automation, and capability-building initiatives that strengthen voice assistant platform competencies and support future AI-driven customer experiences.   Leadership Lead, motivate, and develop assigned employees through performance evaluations and, where appropriate, goal-setting agreements. Ensure targeted internal communication. Ensure employee- and task-specific training and development. Ensure that agreed-upon goals are achieved. Ensure compliance with all Group and site regulations and provisions applicable to the assigned area of responsibility (safety and environmental protection regulations, works agreements, guidelines, etc.) in accordance with applicable regulations and documentation. Inform assigned employees of the relevant provisions and instruct them to comply. Oversee and monitor proper implementation. Occupational Safety and Environmental Protection Ensure compliance with safety and environmental protection requirements within the assigned area of responsibility. To this end, carry out, organize, and monitor the implementation of assigned safety and environmental protection tasks and responsibilities. Train subordinates; inform supervisors of any deficiencies or malfunctions. Your Profile Education  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical discipline – Essential   Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or Business Administration – Desirable Experience  10+ years of experience in software engineering, platform development, embedded systems, voice technologies, AI-enabled products, or infotainment software development – Essential   5+ years of leadership experience managing software engineering organizations, including leadership of managers and multidisciplinary engineering teams – Essential   Demonstrated delivery of complex software platforms from concept through production, achieving quality, reliability, performance, and business objectives – Essential   Proven accountability for delivery across multiple teams, products, or organizational units with responsibility for resource planning and organizational development – Essential   Experience leading large-scale transformation, platform modernization, or technology evolution initiatives – Essential   Experience within automotive software, infotainment systems, voice technologies, conversational AI, or connected services environments – Desirable     Specific Knowledge Strong knowledge of software platform development, distributed software architectures, and scalable software engineering practices – Essential   Strong understanding of voice assistant technologies, speech processing ecosystems, and conversational user experiences – Essential   Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning-enabled software platforms and their integration into customer products – Essential   Strong understanding of Android, embedded software systems, and infotainment software architectures – Essential   Knowledge of cloud-native development principles, service-oriented architectures, and data-driven software platforms – Desirable   Knowledge of Agile product development, DevOps, software quality engineering, and modern software delivery practices – Essential Requirements:  Current position as Lead/E4 or passed panel Why us?
