Sneak preview of your future tasks Owns Feature Delivery:   Owns the planning, execution, and delivery of Voice AI features across multiple product initiatives, ensuring achievement of quality, customer experience, and schedule objectives.   Manages Team Capability Development:   Manages workforce planning, coaching, recruitment, performance management, and capability development activities to build expertise in Voice AI, Generative AI, and modern software engineering practices.   Drives AI Feature Implementation:   Drives the implementation of AI and LLM-based capabilities within customer-facing products, ensuring technical feasibility, usability, maintainability, and business value.   Coordinates Cross-Functional Delivery:   Coordinates activities across Product Management, AI teams, Platform organizations, Architecture, and Engineering teams to manage dependencies and ensure successful feature delivery.   Governs Product Quality & Readiness:   Governs feature quality, release readiness, verification activities, and operational acceptance criteria to ensure successful product deployment.   Establishes Continuous Improvement & Innovation:   Establishes learning, experimentation, automation, and engineering improvement initiatives to strengthen Voice AI capabilities and improve delivery effectiveness.   Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop assigned employees through performance evaluations and, where appropriate, goal-setting agreements. Ensure targeted internal communication. Ensure employee- and task-specific training and development. Ensure that agreed-upon goals are achieved.Ensure compliance with all Group and site regulations and provisions applicable to the assigned area of responsibility (safety and environmental protection regulations, works agreements, guidelines, etc.) in accordance with applicable regulations and documentation. Inform assigned employees of the relevant provisions and instruct them to comply. Oversee and monitor proper implementation. Occupational Safety and Environmental Protection: Ensure compliance with safety and environmental protection requirements within the assigned area of responsibility. To this end, carry out, organize, and monitor the implementation of assigned safety and environmental protection tasks and responsibilities. Train subordinates; inform supervisors of any deficiencies or malfunctions. Your Profile Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline – Essential Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, or Business Administration – Desirable Experience 8+ years of experience in software development, AI-enabled applications, digital products, voice technologies, or software engineering environments – Essential   3+ years of leadership experience managing software engineering or product development teams – Essential   Demonstrated delivery of customer-facing software features from concept through production, achieving quality, usability, and delivery objectives – Essential   Experience coordinating development across multiple stakeholders, teams, and technical domains – Essential   Experience implementing AI, Generative AI, or Large Language Model (LLM)-based capabilities within software products – Essential   Experience operating in global product development environments with distributed stakeholders and teams – Desirable   Experience in automotive software, infotainment systems, conversational systems, or connected services – Desirable   Specific Knowledge   Strong understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, prompt engineering concepts, and conversational AI technologies – Essential   Strong knowledge of software product development and customer-focused feature delivery practices – Essential   Knowledge of voice assistant technologies, conversational user interfaces, and speech-enabled customer experiences – Essential   Working knowledge of AI service integration, cloud-based AI platforms, and API-driven architectures – Essential   Knowledge of Agile product development, DevOps practices, and CI/CD (Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery) approaches – Essential   Understanding of automotive infotainment systems and Mercedes Voice Assistant ecosystems – Desirable     Requirements:  Current position as Lead/E4 or passed panel Why us?
