Seeking a dynamic Director of Operations to oversee core business processes, drive operational efficiency, and build a foundation for sustainable growth alongside executive management. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Development: Lead, coach, and manage a multi-tiered operational staff (combining local and global resources) focused on daily execution and accountability. Operational Execution: Direct end-to-end operational activities, including pipeline throughput, payment processing, portfolio management, and daily reporting. Systems & Vendor Management: Oversee operational tech infrastructure, managing software integrations, third-party vendor relationships, and system enhancements. Process Optimization: Continuously audit current workflows to eliminate bottlenecks, automate manual tasks, and optimize execution speed while preserving credit standards. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with senior management to align operational capabilities with overall business objectives and technology implementations. Business Continuity: Troubleshoot technical or operational issues rapidly to ensure seamless service delivery and minimal downtime. 8+ years of operational leadership experience, with required background in merchant cash advance (MCA), alternative business financing, or specialty fintech. Demonstrated success scaling operational functions, refining processes, and implementing software integrations in a fast-moving setting. Broad operational technical comfort across Loan Origination Systems (LOS), CRM platforms, and data reporting tools. Strong leadership, analytical problem-solving skills, and a balanced focus on strategy and hands-on execution. Prior experience in a high-growth or entrepreneurial environment is strongly preferred.
