Read our operating principles https://www.airwallex.com/en-us/operating-principles to see it in full.   HOW YOU'LL MAKE IMPACT As a Corporate Security Engineer, you’ll help defend Airwallex’s enterprise systems and employees against malware, phishing, unauthorised access, and other threats. You’ll detect, investigate, and prevent security issues across a modern corporate environment, working across digital forensics, incident response, security tooling, endpoints, identity providers, corporate networks, and other IT platforms. - Design, develop, test, and evaluate corporate security controls that reduce risk as the business grows. - Investigate malware, phishing, and other security incidents through digital forensics, incident response, and threat hunting across relevant log sources. - Build security alerts and workflows that strengthen the incident response lifecycle. - Secure corporate IT infrastructure and remediate issues across identity providers, endpoints, corporate networks, and other platforms. - Deploy, configure, and operate security tooling with a focus on measurable impact. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Essentials - A passion for solving complex challenges in high-growth startups. - Self-motivation and drive to learn new skills or deepen existing ones. - A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a similar field. - 3+ years of experience working in a security engineering or incident response role within a technology company. - Strong experience with CrowdStrike, Splunk, or other common security monitoring tools. - An in-depth understanding of common attacker tools and techniques, how they can be detected and prevented, and the ability to respond to incidents with thorough, high-quality investigations. - Experience securing endpoints, including with MDM tooling such as Kandji or Intune. - Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical security and software concepts to a non-technical audience. Preferred - Experience with GCP, Alibaba Cloud, or other cloud platforms. - Experience with Okta, Google Workspace, and cloud-based VPN services. - A strong engineering mindset, with scripting experience in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages.
