Salary: 50000 to 60000 EUR per year
About The Role
We are looking for a Compliance Officer to drive financial crime compliance for our French branch . You will own suspicious activity reporting to Tracfin, act as the local point of reference for AML/CFT matters, and work hand in hand with our FinCrime Operations team on investigations, escalations and quality while closely working with Group Compliance with regulatory matters.
Your Mission
Suspicious activity reporting
Review escalated cases from FinCrime Operations and decide whether a déclaration de soupçon (SAR) is required
Draft, quality-check and file SARs with Tracfin via ERMES, within regulatory timelines
Handle Tracfin requests for information (droit de communication) and follow-up on filed reports
Act as déclarant and correspondant Tracfin for the branch, once designated
Keep a clean, auditable record of SAR decisions, including cases where no filing was made
Supporting FinCrime Operations
Act as escalation point for analysts on complex cases involving French customers or French-specific typologies
Give feedback on investigation quality and help raise the bar on case narratives
Contribute to transaction monitoring tuning, alert typologies and red-flag guidance for the French market
Support asset-freeze and sanctions escalations under the French national regime (DG Trésor)
Local compliance framework
Make sure group AML/CFT policies and procedures meet French requirements (Code monétaire et financier, ACPR guidance), and flag gaps
Contribute to the French branch risk assessment and to annual regulatory reporting, including the ACPR AML/CFT questionnaire
Track French regulatory changes and AMLA/AMLR developments and explain what they mean for operations
Deliver AML/CFT training to local staff and FinCrime analysts on French specifics
Regulatory relationship
Prepare for, and progressively lead, exchanges with the ACPR and Tracfin
Support inspections, information requests and remediation actions
Report key metrics and risks to the Head of FinCrime Operations and Group Compliance
Your Profile
4+ years in AML/CFT compliance or financial crime investigations at a French-regulated bank, EMI, payment institution or fintech
Hands-on experience filing déclarations de soupçon with Tracfin; experience as déclarant or correspondant Tracfin is a strong plus
Solid knowledge of the French AML/CFT framework
Sound judgement on suspicion: you can weigh evidence, write a clear narrative and defend your decision
Comfort working with high case volumes, data and monitoring tools in a fast-moving digital environment
Fluent French and professional English (our working language)
Nice to have
Experience in a branch or passported structure reporting into a group compliance function in another EU country
Direct exposure to ACPR inspections or supervisory exchanges
Certification such as ACAMS (CAMS), ICA or AMF/ACPR-recognised compliance qualifications

Our mission? Your success. Everyone deserves the chance to see their finances flourish, and we're dedicated to empowering our customers to make this a reality.
Founded in 2019 in Berlin by Alexander Emeshev and Artem Iamanov, Vivid has quickly grown into one of Germany's top financial platforms for SMEs and private accounts. Since then, we've expanded rapidly across Europe, earning the trust of over 500,000 customers — and with over €200 million raised and a valuation of €775 million, we're just getting started.
We're building Vivid as an AI-native organization — across every function, from product to compliance to operations. Automation handles a growing share of day-to-day execution. For us, this means our teams can focus on architecture, strategy, and high-impact decision-making. This changes how we work: less manual execution, more ownership in building systems that scale. We want to help define what AI-native looks like in a regulated financial environment — and we're looking for people who want to build that future with us.
