Employment: Full-time
At Commify, we're not just a company - we're a globally connected team of innovators who love what we do. As a CPaaS leader with 25 years of groundbreaking experience, we're the force behind over 5 billion customer interactions each year, enabling businesses worldwide to connect via advanced channels like SMS, RCS, and complex mobile journeys.
Our culture is our core strength. Operating across the UK, EMEA, the USA, and Australia, we've fostered a truly diverse and connected environment, earning a consistent 4 out of 5 culture score in our employee engagement surveys. You'll join a vibrant team where your diverse experience makes a daily global impact.
We need talented people to grow a global company where everyone feels proud to belong, have a purpose and do their best to directly shape the digital future.
About The Role:
We are hiring a Business Development Representative in the Netherlands to drive new business growth. You will identify and qualify potential customers, build a strong sales pipeline, and help expand our market presence to hit team targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Find leads: Research Dutch companies to find potential clients, then reach out via phone, email, LinkedIn, or casual client visits.
Start conversations: Use tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lusha, and Amplemarket to get in touch with decision-makers.
Follow up & qualify: Chat with interested prospects on discovery calls to see if our solution fits their needs.
Run product demos: Lead your own sales chats and demos, with BDM support on bigger deals.
Keep CRM updated: Log your calls, notes, and sales pipeline cleanly in Salesforce or HubSpot.
Work together: Partner with Marketing and Customer Success to refine strategies and hand off happy new clients.
Hit your goals: Aim high to book meetings, build pipeline, and hit monthly targets.
What You'll Bring:
We are looking for a curious, solution-minded professional to join our sales team. You bring commercial insight, a collaborative approach to problem-solving, and the enthusiasm to try new ideas, adapt quickly, and drive great outcomes.
Experience: Entry-level candidates are welcome, though 1–2 years in sales or SaaS/CPaaS business development is a strong plus.
Communication: Fluent in Dutch (native level) and highly proficient in English.
Resilience & Problem-Solving: Adaptable, positive in the face of challenges, and comfortable navigating a fast-paced environment.
Organisation: Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines.
Teamwork: A collaborative spirit with a passion for learning and growing with the team.
We are an AI-enabled business dedicated to driving innovation and staying future-ready. We assess all candidates using the following key competencies and behaviours:
Core Competencies
AI Literacy & Tool Fluency: Ability to navigate, evaluate, and adopt domain-specific AI tools (e.g. generative text/image tools, enterprise copilots, automated analytics) to streamline daily work.
Workflows & Prompting: Skill in structuring clear inputs and contexts to extract accurate, high-value outputs from AI platforms, converting machine results into actionable business deliverables.
Output Validation & Quality Control: Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, hallucination, bias, relevance, and alignment with organisational standards before final execution.
Required Behaviours & Mindset
Adaptive Curiosity: Actively seeks opportunities to learn new workplace approved tech, experimenting with AI capabilities to solve everyday operational friction.
Data Responsibility & Ethical Awareness: Adheres strictly to company data privacy standards, AI Policy guardrails, ensuring sensitive customer, financial, or IP data is never entered into unvetted tools.
Automation-First Thinking: Regularly identifies repetitive, low-value tasks within their workflow that can be automated or accelerated, redirecting time towards strategic execution.
